As we approach Shannons transplant there has been what some like to call bumps in the road. I feel like they are more like boulders but nevertheless bothersome. Shannon was admitted to Vanderbilt to Friday, unexpectedly for tooth pain, swelling and fever..she was only supposed to have ️ Port placed and receive chemo.. outpatient.. now she has been admitted.. had first round of chemotherapy which she had an anaphylactic reaction to.. now she finally got that round in.. on antibiotic for her mouth.. the concern is the mouth causing infection while count is down.. the transplant team wants to move forward..getting ️Port today.. chemo will start Friday.. pray for that tooth to stay calm and not cause problems during transplant period.. thank you church family for your continued support..
