What is Mountain Trek?
June 4 ~ 2 PM – 7 PM
Mountain Trek 2017 is a one-day adventure for the entire family. Join us for the adventure at Hidden View, The Lee Family Farm in Sale Creek, TN. The Lee Family Farm sits on top of Sale Creek Mountain, overlooking the valley with majestic views.
Families are encouraged to come and go as they please, enjoying the planned activities at their own pace. Activities range from hayrides and fishing to old fashioned games and crafts. Pack a blanket to sit on, shoes to trek in (optional) and an appetite!

Petting zoo: 2-7 pm
Bible Stories: Guests may attend Bible story presentations in the barn at rotating intervals.
All other activities are available from 2 PM-7 PM

Q: Do I drop off my child or do I stay?
A: Parents are required to stay and supervise their children while enjoying their day on the farm.
Q: Do I have to stay for the entire five hours?
A: No, this is an open event where families can come and go as they please. However, some activities will take longer than others. Also, not every activity is suitable for every age.
Q: Is transportation provided from the campuses of Stuart Heights?
A: No, but you can find detailed driving directions on our site. We encourage families to carpool, if possible.
Q: Does the event cost anything?
A: The event is free.
Q: What if it is raining on June 5?
A: Our rain date is scheduled for June 11, same times and activities.
Q: Is childcare provided for younger children?
A: There is no childcare as this event was designed to bring the entire family together for some old-fashioned fun.
Q: Can I invite friends, neighbors or family members?
A: Yes! We would love to meet your friends, neighbors and family members. Please fill out the registration form to help us plan for food and activities.
Q: Where do I park?
A: There will be signs at the entrance of the farm that will guide you down a gravel road to a back field. The activities are just a short walk away.
Q: Can I volunteer to help?
A: Absolutely! We need volunteers and would love for our members who do not have young children to step up and take this opportunity to minister to our children! Visit the “Volunteer” tab to register to serve.
Q: Are there bathrooms?
A: Yes, bathrooms are located in the barn.
Q: What ages is Mountain Trek for?
A: While we are focusing on pre-school to 5th grade children, this is a family event and is open to all ages.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: All supplies will be provided for all activities (including bamboo fishing poles). You may want to bring your own blanket to sit on and shoes that are comfortable for walking around in nature.
Q: What type of clothing is appropriate?
A: A closed toe shoe is recommended. As for clothing, please keep in mind this is an outside farm event, as well as a church event.
Q: What if my child gets hurt?
A: There will be a first aid station. If you know your child is allergic to bee stings or anything outdoors, please have their Epi-pen® on hand.

Would you like to volunteer to help at Mountain Trek this year? We need volunteers to help with crafts, games and hot dog cooking, just to name a few.
We are seeking volunteers who do not have young children so parents who do can enjoy the day with their family.

This is an event for the entire family. Parents must accompany their children around the farm. We encourage parent participation to ensure child safety. Strollers are welcome where terrain permits.

Registration is not required to attend Mountain Trek. However, it would greatly help us plan for food and other activities if we know how many guests to expect. Please register your family below if your family is attending Mountain Trek.
