B.A.L.L. Club
The acronym of "Be Active, Live Longer" identifies the B.A.L.L. Club of Stuart Heights Baptist Church. The Club is composed of seniors 50 years of age and up. Meetings are held on the third Friday of each month starting at 11:30 AM and begin with a "covered dish" lunch. The luncheon fellowship is followed by a program on various topics including religion, entertainment, education, health, safety, city and county governments, etc. Following the program, a business session is held to discuss various matters including urgent needs of church members, others' needs, and prayer requests.
Activities include trips to both local and out of city places of interests. Picnics are enjoyed in the spring, summer, and early fall months. In addition to church activities, the Club participates in programs sponsored by other organizations extending help to those in need.
